INTERVIEW WITH THE BIG FOUR …TANKARD !!

Thanks to social networks have had the opportunity to have a digital conversation with vocalist Andreas Geremia.

I appreciate your kindness and naturalness!

Tankard that recently was in the legendary rock festival ..and rained although no one moved from his place .. how was that experience? I would like to repeat?

Andrea:

– We had had really a great time, the fans were brilliant and we really would love to come back….next time with sunshine of course! 😀

After so many years on stage .. and each better than the previous album where the band .. seen in 10 years? the band is working on something new?

Andrea:

– we will bring out our next album in 2017 to celebrate Tankards 35th birthday, right at the moment there are no new songs till yet. We always try to do our best, as I can`t imagine a life without Tankard I guess we are still there in 10 years!

The album covers of tankard are spectacular! who designs them? mean something to the band?

Andrea:

– The last covers were done by Mr. Strogulski, our old stuff by Sebastian Krüger.

I think the covers really fits to our fun image and there are really a trademark of Tankard! 😉

For many fans of the band. ..the songs and lyrics become hymns and lifestyles ..that this mean? for the band?

Andrea:

– great to hear that. First of all tankard wants to have fun, although we have agood mixture of fun stuff and serious lyrics. We really love our fans for all their truthful support the last 33 years, the fans are really mean a lot to us! 🙂

After great concerts and one of the biggest bands in this style there .. you have a concert that surely will never forget?

Andrea:

– legendary rock festival: rain, rain and rain…….hahahaha, I will never forget our shows in south America, the maniacs over there are very crazy, your boat cruises were brilliant , and and and……..but there are still so many countries we have never been too, so there is still a lot of work for Tankard!..!!! 😀

Tankard is characterized by sheer force on stage and having incredible lyrics .. all this occupies a lot of time .. as band combines family life and ignite stages?

Andrea:

– to combine family, regular job and the band is not so easy, so we spend the most of our free time into activities of the band! But that is really worth I love to do music and to play live!… 🙂 🙂

As the band gets to infect thousands of people with that energy, adrenaline and passion after years of concerts?

Andrea:

– it is still really the biggest to get this energy back from the audience, we still have the power and love to keep on going as long as we can!

Has some ritual or protocol band before leaving to each concert?
